About me

Hey, I’m Jillian. I am a super resourceful lil’ badger (hence the company name). I have been an administrator for twenty years, at every level (including at Executive/Director) for a variety of clients. I’ve worked with lots of different companies and sectors, from the big corporates to solo ventures. All this experience means I can provide you with easy solutions to your admin needs.

Over the years I’ve had the opportunity to work on some amazing projects and experience lots of different industries and roles, including security cleared and confidential environments (always nice to know you’re working with someone vetted, right).

On an ‘ordinary day’ at the office I’ve;

  • Worked in a portacabin (squished between a horse stable and a dumpster) right through to a splendid English country manor house (complete with chauffeur and chef, neither mine).

  • Chased after Russell Crowe (and caught him).

  • Sat in a main battle tank.

  • Tested out covert surveillance equipment (not sure it was successful, I had voices booming out of my coat in the middle of a shopping centre).

  • Hidden in a cupboard from my workplace stalker (only to be found by my confused manager).

  • Generally provided all round in-office entertainment alongside providing solid admin finesse of course.

I’ve loved information/data and organising since I was little. I was the kid with an unending non-fiction library book habit (still have the addiction) and possibly the only child that made sub-categorised index stickers for their own book collection. Impressive, yes, but admittedly, quite odd for a child.

I’m a stickler for spelling and grammar. I once tackled my terrifying Chemistry teacher over his chalkboard spelling, culminating in a lengthy life-contemplating moment whilst he consulted a dictionary as fellow students shook their wide-eyed, terrified heads at me*.

Following what feels like many lifetimes of workplace escapades, I am happy to have bagged up all of my experience, skills, interests and cheer to become a Virtual Assistant for quirky, innovative professionals like you.

* I was correct, thankfully!
